Born in Gujarat, India, Max’s family moved to the States in 1980. Max was primarily raised in Birmingham, Alabama, but also resided in Chicago, Jersey City, and Houston. For the last 19 years, he has lived in Atlanta, Georgia where he attended and completed his Bachelors of Science Degree in Hospitality Administration from the University of Georgia State in 1999.
Max’s experience in hotel operations started at an early age when he helped is family run small motels. He was involved with every facet of operations – front desk, night audit, housekeeping, maintenance, etc. Max’s parents have played a huge role in building his character and foundation. They have been in the hotel business for 20 plus years.

Since 1999, Max’s career assumed a strategic trajectory with the Hilton Garden Inn brand, as he learned from the ground-up.
